Proximity Card Identification to increase throughput.

Proximity Card

Automated vehicle identification systems help your business run smarter and faster. Our goal is to provide scale ticketing software to increase productivity and profitability.

  • Proximity Cards, or ProxCards, are factory-programmed, close-range radio frequency cards, often used as employee ID or access control cards.
  • ProxCards have a unique Identification Code which is registered to the vehicle in the RF ID field of the ScaleQ Truck Record.
  • ProxCards are approximately 2” x 3 x 3¼” and can be supplied with badge clips or also be tethered to the vehicle dashboard.
  • Since Proximity Cards are factory programmed, scale operators are encouraged to maintain an inventory of cards for assignment to new vehicles or to replace lost or damaged cards.
  • During the weighing process drivers will present the card to within a few inches of the Proximity Card Reader mounted to the face of the Remote Data Terminal. As described for Barcode AVI, pre-defined transaction data can be used to complete the transaction quickly and accurately.
