Order Dispatch Central Overview

Order Dispatch Central is Interface Logic Systems’ solution for managing sales orders, material shipments, and vehicle assignment within ScaleQ. It supports the accurate entry and fulfillment of orders for future shipments while improving coordination between sales, yard, and scale operations.

Authorized operators—or sales personnel using ILS Office Administration Software—can create and manage sales orders independently of scale operations, ensuring a smooth and controlled dispatch process across single or multi‑site organizations.


Sales Order Entry and Control

Order Dispatch Central allows operators to establish sales orders for specific materials and quantities, whether derived from existing customer jobs or created independently.

Orders are quickly created by referencing:

  • Customer
  • Location
  • Job (optional)

For each order, operators can define quotas by material, including:

  • Special pricing
  • Number of tons
  • Number of loads

These controls ensure shipments align precisely with contractual and operational requirements.


Multi‑Site Visibility and Order Management

The Order Dispatch Central dashboard enables operators to manage orders across multiple production sites. Order statuses for multiple locations can be viewed simultaneously over the corporate network, providing centralized visibility and control.

This capability is especially valuable for organizations operating multiple plants, yards, or scale locations.


Order Fulfillment and Shipment Tracking

As material is shipped against an active order, the operator enters the Truck Number and Order Number at the scale.

Order Dispatch Central automatically retrieves and applies all relevant order data, including:

  • Customer code
  • Job code
  • Material
  • Pricing and haul charges
  • Taxes and fees

The quantity shipped is automatically decremented from the order balance. Once the defined number of tons or loads has been fulfilled, the order is automatically closed—ensuring accurate tracking and preventing over‑shipment.


Optional Vehicle Dispatch Integration

ScaleQ’s optional Vehicle Dispatch function complements Order Dispatch Central by enabling direct assignment of sales orders to specific vehicles.

Key capabilities include:

  • Assigning one or more trucks to a sales order
  • Prompting operators to select an order after entering a truck code
  • Automatically defaulting to the first assigned open order
  • Selecting from multiple open orders via drop‑down list when applicable

Once an order is selected, all transaction data—Customer, Job, Material, and pricing—is derived directly from the order file, reducing data entry time and eliminating errors.
