Integrated Credit Card Processing at the Scale

ScaleQ truck ticketing software supports integrated credit card payments for scale transactions.

When a cash‑sale weighing transaction is completed, the operator is presented with a Payment window and selects the payment type. If “Credit Card” is selected, the payment terminal prompts the driver to present their card and communicates directly with the processing center.

Upon approval:

• The transaction is completed
• The scale ticket is printed
• Approval and reference numbers are included on the ticket

If a transaction is not approved or connectivity is lost, the operator can cancel the card transaction and allow the customer to use a different payment method, including cash or “Pay Later” options. If connectivity issues occur, the system safely times out and allows an alternate form of payment to be selected.
